eBooks and eAudiobooks - Available Now

Welcome to the Brighton & Hove Libraries eBook service.

You can now take out up to 4 eBooks or eAudiobooks at any one time for 7, 14 or 21 days.

The eBook and eAudiobook catalogue works much like our regular catalogue – you can search for a specific item or you can browse our collections of adult fiction and non-fiction. You can select the items you’d like to add to your basket, and if they’re not available you can add them to your waiting list, exactly like a reservation… but free! These eBooks and eAudiobooks can be read and listened to from your computer or mobile device for as long as they are borrowed. All you need is a valid Brighton & Hove Library card and PIN.

There are no overdue charges as the items will automatically return themselves after your time has run out, or you can return them early if you finish them before your time is up.

Check for compatible devices

There are free software downloads to support functionality on a wide range of e-readers, music players and computers, and apps for browsing and downloading to iOS devices.
