Adult writing groups

We’ve joined up with New Writing South to offer budding writers and new writers the chance to explore and develop their writing talents for free.

The writing groups focus on getting started with creative writing and offer further help and advice on forming your own writing group, where to look for further opportunities for writing, and other useful events and workshops in the area.

Current library writing groups take place at the following libraries, please check with us first before coming along to a group:

Adult reading groups

Reading groups are a great way of meeting new friends who share a like-minded passion for books. There are regular structured groups taking place at many of our city libraries
