• Silver Surfer sessions for the over 50s, the second and fourth Monday of each month, booking essential. 

For children

• Starting in December 2009 a pre school story time and craft session on the second Monday of each month between 10.15 and 10.45am
• Children’s books: board books, picture books, fiction, DVDs and audiobooks
• Rock & Rhyme, third Monday of each month, 10.15-10.45am

For young people

• Young people’s books: novels, non-fiction, reference books, DVDs and audiobooks

Available at Hollingbury Library

• Books for loan, including fiction, non-fiction, a large print section, and a separate reference collection
• DVDs, CDs, Audio Books and Language Courses for hire
• Essential skills collections
• Newspapers and periodicals

Internet and Computer access free

Use our computers for word processing, access to the internet and all online services available in our Virtual Reference Library.  These include:

• Which? for consumer information
• Oxford Dictionary of National Biography
• Who’s Who
• Times Digital Archive
• Encyclopaedia Britannica
• Ancestry for family history research
• Range of assistive technology and furniture for disabled customers
