We are likely to have the toy library, children’s and young people’s areas in the front of the library near the public entrance and include movable and flexible shelving.
We will offer a range of regular events and activities including family learning, reading and writing workshops, Baby Boogie sessions, homework clubs, holiday fun for children, activities and advice for young people. We will also offer advice and information sessions run by a range of agencies and people.
We are also very keen to work in partnership to make the new library a really flexible and versatile community space and a centre of local information and activity.
These are our broad ideas. We really want to know
- What matters to you about your library?
- What would you like to see in terms of stock/facilities/activities/anything else?
