How to get to Brighton Museum 

Brighton Museum & Art Gallery is located in Royal Pavilion Gardens in Brighton city centre, a 15 minute walk from Brighton Station.

Train journey time is approximately 50 minutes from London Victoria and 35 minutes from Gatwick airport.

Buses stop either outside the Royal Pavilion on Old Steine or on nearby North Street.

Drop-off

If your group is arriving by coach they can be dropped off on Church Street, before taking the coach to Madeira Drive.

Parking

There is coach parking on Madeira Drive.

Coaches can set down and pick up passengers on Madeira Drive open all year, 24 hours. Rates £10 per day. There are three pay and display machines which accept cash only.

When Madeira Drive is closed for special events, set-down and pick-up points are transferred to Marine Parade between the SEA LIFE centre and Lower Rock Gardens. Set-down is on the north side of Marine Parade and pick-up points along the south side. Telephone 01273 292711 for further information on closures.

Public transport

Brighton Museum is 15 minutes walk from Brighton station, which has fast train connections to London Victoria taking under an hour, as well as connections to Gatwick, London Bridge and the City, Luton and Ashford International.

Local buses stop either outside the Royal Pavilion on Old Steine, or on North Street which is within five minutes walk.

On arrival

The group leader should make their way to the information desk in the main entrance on arrival. You will need your booking reference, group name and payment if applicable.
