Wheelchair users
The ground floor of the Royal Pavilion is easily accessible to wheelchair users with wide doorways and no steps to negotiate. There is a specially adapted ground floor toilet available.
Wheelchairs are available on request.
Ground floor visitors can enjoy the sumptuous Music Room and Banqueting Room, drawing rooms, the Great Kitchen and the King’s Apartments, as well as the Royal Pavilion Shop which leads to the exit.
On the ground floor also is the audio-visual room, with a video presentation about all aspects of the Royal Pavilion.
Access to the first floor is via the staircase only.
Visually impaired
Tactile tours of the palace can be booked for groups of visually impaired visitors.
An audio tour is also available for individual visitors with a visual impairment.
Hard of hearing
Sign language interpreted group tours are available for the hard of hearing.
All guided tours must be booked in advance.
