Garden volunteers maintain the restored Regency gardens

Volunteering

We have up to 160 volunteers who contribute their time towards the goals of the Royal Pavilion, Museums and Libraries in Brighton & Hove.

They are a wide variety of people ranging from those retired from previous employment to students on placements.

They help us in many ways including

  • helping at events
  • recording our collections
  • maintaining our gardens
  • supporting our front line services
  • helping housebound residents with library book choices and collection and delivery

A much smaller number of volunteers, around 60, help on a weekly basis and others help on specific projects or for certain tasks.

Would you like to become one of our volunteers?

Please contact visitor.services@brighton-hove.gov.uk or telephone 03000 290900 and say you are keen to volunteer.
