A Friend of the Royal Pavilion & Museums is anyone who has a passion for

  • the arts or history
  • Brighton and its colourful past and present
  • keeping our city passionate and vibrant, and
  • keeping our heritage and collections alive and dynamic

Being a Friend means helping our visitors enjoy Brighton’s rich cultural heritage and preserving the city’s extraordinary historical jewels for years to come.

How can I help as a Friend?

By getting involved throughout the year with other Friends in a range of activities from fundraising to volunteering at special events and helping out at exhibitions.

How is my membership subscription spent?

In many different and valuable ways that support the preservation of the Royal Pavilion and the museums, such as

  • purchasing new exhibits
  • conserving existing artefacts
  • mounting exhibitions

All expenditure is presented openly in the Friends’ yearly accounts.
