Introduction to Family History - 10 week course

Have you ever been curious to discover your family’s past?

Our internet-based course is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of researching family history.

Over ten weeks, you will learn how to access and interpret a range of online records including birth, marriage and death, military documents and census returns.

Groups are small and friendly with guidance from an experienced tutor in Coldean library’s dedicated computer suite.

Join our monthly Family History Group at the end of the course for continued support and encouragement.

Some degree of confidence with internet searching is essential.
