Discover the magic of sensory stories in a new session at the Library, specifically designed for children with special needs. Library staff share 'bag books', vivid sensory stories suited to children with profound and multiple learning disabilities or visual impairment. Entry is free and Jubilee and Hove Library are fully accessible to disabled visitors.

We now have a special collection of books suitable for sensory story telling.

They are all big, bright hardback books that are touchy feely and some have great noises too!

Some of the titles include “Maisy’s Twinkly Crinkly Counting Book”,  “Usborne Touchy-Feely Puppies” , “My Book of Pets – a furry, purry, touch and feel book”, Snappy Sounds – Toys – with Fun Toy box sounds”, “Usborne Noisy Jungle” and “Usborne Noisy Zoo”. “Charlie and Lola – Sizzles is an extremely clever dog”.
