Summer Reading Challenge
Sign up for the Space Hop and get prizes for reading books!
This year the summer reading challenge is to join the crew of the Ex Libris as they go on a mission to set up the first library on the Moon.
Just read and rate any 6 books between Saturday 3 July and Thursday 30 September. Please note community libraries start the summer reading challenge on July 17.

How to take part:
On your first visit: Space Hopper
Register at the desk in your library and pick up your Starter Pack and choose two books. Read and review them.
On your second visit: Blast off
Hand in your reviews or chat to us about what you’ve been reading and collect your stickers and bookmark. Choose two more books.
On your third visit: Space Chase
Hand in your reviews or chat to us about what you’ve been reading and collect your stickers and a fridge magnet. Choose your final two books.
On your fourth visit: Lunar landing
Hand in your reviews and collect your certificate, medal, kit bag, glow-in-the-dark wristband and your voucher for a free DVD hire!
