Children taking part in a Royal Pavilion and Museums Egyptian session

Schools and teachers

Whatever topic you are teaching, the Royal Pavilion & Museums will help to bring it to life. Mini-beasts, Victorian mousetraps, African masks, toys and Egyptian mummies – you will find these and much more in our museums. Our friendly and helpful Museums Learning Team will help you plan and make the best use of your visit.

For a small charge we offer you and your pupils

  • Opportunities to handle museum artefacts
  • Activities led by experienced Museum Teachers
  • Gallery talks and guided tours
  • Costumed sessions
  • Teachers’ packs with background information on the subject and suggested activities for before and after your visit

Download a copy of the Quick and Easy Guide for Teachers [PDF 4MB] which details all the learning sessions that are available.
