The Royal Pavilion & Museums are a great place to find out more about the world around you and a place to research subjects that interest you.

Youth Events Team
Are you aged 16-21 years old?  Want to get experience in the arts and events management? Want to meet new people and get to see behind the scenes at the museums? Join the Youth Events Team.

 

Brighton & Hove Libraries

It’s free to join your local library and get free access to books, magazines, computers and the internet.  DVDs and music CDs can also be borrowed for a small fee. There are lots of holiday activities for ages 13+, including writing and animation workshops. Or you might just want to relax and meet friends in the dedicated area for young people in Jubilee Library . While there, you could try out the Wii Wall.  Hove library also has a dedicated area for young people.

  • Set up your own online account and search for your favourite titles and authors
  • Search our Virtual Reference Library for online resources, including  Encyclopaedia Britannica online to help with study and research
  • Free membership to view some of Brighton’s ‘treasures’ in Rare Books & Special Collections – rare and beautiful illustrated works, some over 700 years old
  • Holiday activities for all ages
  • Dedicated Young People’s area at Jubilee Library with its own selection of books,magazines, study aids and graphic novels.  A good space to meet others and try out the Wii Wall
  • A dedicated area for Young People at Hove Library
  • All libraries have stock for Young People

Design for Life

Design for Life is a centrally-funded project led by the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and five regional partner museums, of which Brighton Museum & Art Gallery is one.
