The Banqueting Room

Royal Pavilion filming

With its exotic exterior and flamboyant interiors the Royal Pavilion is a popular location for all kinds of professional filming and photography.

Its exotic décor and rich furnishings provide unique and original backgrounds for photo-shoots, feature films and promotional filming. The historical and cultural content lends itself to educational, documentary and historical broadcasting.

The Royal Pavilion has appeared in many well-known feature films – including Richard III starring Ian McKellen and The End of the Affair with Ralph Fiennes and Julianne Moore – as well as television series, docudramas, music videos and fashion mags. Recent projects have been with Midsomer Murders and the new feature film of Brighton Rock. A variety of Royal Pavilion interiors provided the settings for the main fashion spread in Tatler’s last Christmas issue.
